Tatiana Nikitina

2006 IBLA Foundation Winner Pianist Tatiana Nikitina has just returned from the IBLA Grand Prize Winners Tour. It included their New York Carnegie Weill Hall Debut in addition to performing for New York Universitym Radford University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Tatiana Nikitina was born in Moscow. She began studying music when she was only five. Studied at Moscow Gnessin School with professor M.Khokhlov (the director of Gnessin School). Then she studied at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire with professor A. Diev and finished it in 2000 with honours diploma. Later she has got a post-graduate degree in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire with Prof.M.Dubov

Ms. Nikitina has been awarded  "Young Talents of Russia" competition  in Moscow, Special prize,  "F.L.A.M.E." International Competition 1995, Paris, First Prize,  "Virtuosi 2000" Festival, St. Petersburg, diploma,  “Milosz Magin International Competition, Paris, 2005, Special Prize,  "IBLA GRAND PRIZE" Ragusa Ibla, 2006, Top Winner.   

Ms. Nikitina is currently working as a soloist in Russian State Svetlanov Orchestra and teaches in Moscow Conservatoire Music College. She has worked with maestros M. Rostropovich, M. Gorenshtein, N. Gutman, G. Kremer, V. Sinaisky, Y. Bashmet, D. Sitkovetsky, A.Lasarev. Ms. Nikitina took part in D.Schostakovich, S.Gubaidulina, R.Schedrin anniversary festivals, including the festival dedicated to the memory of O.Kagan and other famous projects. She gives concerts around Russia, Europe and America.
